"...a good sense of how we can better prepare our children for college..."  Candidate for Board of Education Gregory Gaber has been a Watertown-Oakville resident for the past 30 years. He is married and has 2 children who attended and graduated from the Watertown Public School system. Greg has been employed by the Goodrich Corporation for the past 29 years in various roles. He has learned how to work with others and negotiate solutions to problems so both sides get some of what they wanted and the company gets what it needs. For the past 15 years, Greg has volunteered with the Watertown-Oakville Little League and Water-Oak Gold Circle of Sports, where he served in a variety of roles, including President. He has served on the Watertown Foundation since 2008. Greg has a strong interest in serving on the Board of Education. His children are recent college graduates, and he has a good sense of how we can better prepare our children for college. He has a strong interest in other town’s educational systems, and is anxious to bring those best practices to Watertown’s school system. He looks forward to serving the taxpayers and the children of Watertown and Oakville. |
