Candidate for Board of Education Patrick Sharpe is a candidate for the Board of Education. He and his wife, Sharon, have lived in Watertown for over 12 years. He is not affiliated with any political party. Pat is familiar with the Watertown High School curriculum, having served as the Chairman of the Munson Trust Fund since 2004. The Trust Fund gives out $30,000 in scholarships to Watertown students each year. Patrick grew up in Texas. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Banking Finance from Texas Tech University and his Masters degree in International Management from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management. He worked in New York City for 30 years in Corporate Treasury and International Banking. Patrick is semi retired and is self employed as the owner of Tri Sharpe Enterprises, which sells a fuel saving commercial retrofit for boilers. Patrick has a financial background, an appreciation for the Watertown School system, and experience living in other communities. His mission is to upgrade the education level of Watertown schools while looking at more efficient ways to deliver quality education to our students. |
