Watertown Ct Independent Party

Linda Masayda

"...help the town make sound financial decisions by providing a frugal common sense approach..."

Linda Masayda

Candidate for Town Council

Linda Masayda is seeking her second term on the Town Council. She grew up in Oakville and currently resides in Watertown with her husband of 17 years, Alfred Beauregard.

Unaffiliated with any political party for most of her life, she recently became a registered Independent because she feels strongly about the values they represent.

Linda is a graduate of the Watertown public school system. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and her Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven. She has worked for Goodrich in Danbury for 22 years and is currently a design team leader, which encompasses technical, schedule and cost responsibilities, for a multi-million dollar program.

Linda has been close to Watertown’s issues all her life. Her uncle is Stanley Masayda, Watertown’s retired Zoning Officer.

Linda was disappointed in the partisan politics she experienced in her first term on the Council. She will promote open government and wants to help the town make sound financial decisions by providing a frugal common sense approach to our budget and expenses.
