To the Editor:

Why is it that we have a task force in place to figure out the next steps on the WSA Water and Sewer debacle, yet only one person is allowed to speak among the task force members, that being Mr. Mark Raimo, and no member can question what he puts forth?

No one on this force is assigned any tasks to perform. Mr. Raimo is doing it all for them. I thought he had another full-time job in Watertown; what gives?

How is it that our Town Manager has solely gained all the knowledge and expertise to put a solid plan together to resolve the repayment issue to Waterbury? Read between the lines. Who’s really pulling the strings?

And, by the way, the WSA Task Force will go beyond their 60 day assignment to have the answers, which will mean the interest on the debt we owe to Waterbury will continue to grow at nearly $20,000 PER DAY. Think about that in terms of your take home pay. It’s astounding!
